What are multi-document summaries?

Multi-document summaries are summary paragraphs that Genei automatically generates based on a prompt and the resources in a project. These summary paragraphs contain references so you can easily view what resources they’re informed by.

When to create a multi-document summary

Genei’s multi-document summaries are perfect for getting the ball rolling when answering a high-level question about a project’s content. Use a multi-document summary to clear the haze surrounding a complex topic and get your creative juices flowing.

How to create a multi-document summary

Step 1. Navigate to your Genei dashboard and click on a ****project.

Step 2. Click the Search Icon in your project’s sidebar.

Step 3. Type a prompt into the search bar to generate a multi-document summary paragraph. A prompt could be ‘The Importance of the James Webb Space Telescope’.

Step 4. Click the Write a summary paragraph titled… button from the drop-down to generate a multi-document summary!
