Genei’s Smart Search lets you search your projects using full-sentence questions like you would if you were using Google. Using Smart Search, you can ask Genei a factual question, and the app will return results from your project’s resources that answer it.
When diving into the details of writing on a complex topic, you’ll often need to retrieve facts and figures from your project’s resources but may not remember enough about their context to find them using a simple full-text project search. Put simply, if you need to Google some information in a project, use Genei’s Smart Search instead.
Step 1. Navigate to your Genei dashboard and click on a project.
Step 2. Click the Search Icon in your project’s sidebar.
Step 3. Type a full-sentence question into the search bar for Genei to retrieve factual information about. A full-sentence question could be ‘How large is the James Webb Space Telescope’s mirror?’.
Step 4. Click the Find a passage answering the question… button from the drop-down to get some answers to your question!
